How We Turn Your Pet Photo Into an Embroidered Portrait

Every custom piece we make starts the same way: with one photo you love. Maybe it's your dog mid-zoomie, or the cat who only sits still when she's judging you. Here's what happens after you send it to our embroidery studio in Saigon.

The journey, step by step

1. You upload one clear photo. Daylight, face in focus, eyes visible. That's all we need to start.
2. We draw the stitch file by hand. An embroidery machine can't read a photo, so we map every stitch: fur direction, the highlight in the eyes, the pink of a nose.
3. We test-stitch it. A sample run shows how the thread sits in real life; if the ears look flat or the eyes need contrast, we adjust and test again.
4. We embroider your piece. Your design goes onto the sweatshirt, t-shirt, hat, patch or hoop you chose.
5. We ship it to you, packed and tracked all the way to your door.

Why we draw every file by hand

Automatic photo-to-stitch converters turn fur into flat blocks of colour. Drawing the file by hand is slower, but it's the reason a Golden Retriever's feathered ears look soft and a black cat's face still has depth instead of turning into a dark circle.

Our sweatshirts are a soft 65% cotton / 35% polyester blend, and our dad hats are 100% cotton with an adjustable strap.

Delivery and good-to-knows

• Delivery: custom pieces usually arrive in the US in about 15–25 days; Europe takes about 5 days more. Follow your parcel on our Track Your Order page.
• Changed your mind? You can cancel for a full refund within 4 days of ordering. After that your portrait is already being made, so returns aren't accepted.
• Something wrong? If your order arrives damaged or not as ordered, message us and we'll remake it or refund you.
